Not fresh
The bread is usually good but this last shipment is not fresh. Maybe you should freeze the bread after it’s baked because this loaf I opened after receiving package feels & tastes like it’s days old & going stale.

Shelf stable loaf not as good…
I have purchased consistently over the last 2 to 3 years either through the website or at a local store here in Austin, Texas. I’ve always loved your products. The last time I purchased from the store, I noticed that the bread was not in the freezer and was advised that it is now shelf stable. I tried my loaf. The taste was fine, but the texture was a bit off. It was more crumbly and the top part of the crust separated from the rest of the bread so I thought maybe it was just because it was sitting on the shelf at the store. So I placed this particular order here got three loaves of bread, hamburger buns, hotdog buns, and some tortillas. The bread texture of the first loaf I’m trying is the same and the top part of the loaf of the bread separates from the rest of the bread and the texture appears to be off is not as soft as it used to be. My tortillas delicious hamburger and hotdog buns seem to be fine. I tasted a hotdog and a hamburger and they seem fine. I’ll use the three loaves that I have and see how the rest of the other two loaves are going to be and I may place another order just to see if possibly y’all are working on this shelf stable recipe, but if it stays the same, I probably won’t order the bread moving forward I’m bummed out about that.
